popping flames
I just got a new exhaust its a Injen Ses and now 90% of the time when I shift from 3rd to 4th it pops a flame! is that bad?

from what i'v been told shooting flames is really harsh on the turbine and engine. it does help keep the turbo spooled though sort of like the anti-lag systems but is not as extreme...since those usually ends up with engine rebuild in a few thousand mi. but in your case a custom tune would be the best choice for you to get the fuel and timing sorted out on your car

do you have any cats on the car? im guessing you have a catless exhaust...
if not, all that exploding in there... your cats are or will be gone soon enough. The flames is unburnt fuel igniting either in the turbo or the exhaust. I would say your spark plugs are bad and your spewing unburnt fuel into your exhaust or you have bigger issues. the up pipe cat on the stock uppipe is to keep unburnt fuel from making it to the turbo, because your turbo runs hot as ****. it will ignite the unburnt fuel.
