I spent a little time and checked out Central Florida Turbo's website....it seems they are pretty hardcore. The shop has a turbo GSR running 11's, another white WRX that has managed 12 flat, a Civic SI Turbo running low 12's, a 98 240SX with an RB25DET making 597whp at 1.7 bar, and a bunch of other pretty serious turbo cars. Looks like they are about making big power.
The white WRX seems pretty mean, nothing quite like the Sedona Red, but still...heres the setup.
Engine: 2.5 STI Block, WRX Heads, Web Cams, Stock Tranny
Engine management: MicroTech LT-8 w/ dash unit
Externals: CFT fuel system (Fuel rails, 785cc injectors, surge tank , 255gph walbro fuel pumps)
Custom GT35R Precision Turbo
GATO Performance exhaust manifold
Greddy Evo 3” Exhaust Tial wastegate
HKS blow off valve Precision Turbo Intercooler
Drivetrain: Spec stage 3 clutch
Fidanza Flywheel
Eibach suspension
Electronics: Greddy EGT & Boost gauges
Greddy Turbo Timer
Greddy Profec B Boost controller w/ remote
Wheels: Rota 17x7
Best E/T in the 1/4 mile: 12.0 @ 119 mph
Pretty damn nice if you ask me.
xitonedefix,
The Sedona Red isnt your's is it?

the RB25 nissan in located in puerto rico where their originally from and where their first shop is located, so thats not even in the united states, and the white WRX that runs 12 flats is no longer running, they dissasembled it and sold the entire kit to some kid for his wrx, which is not as fast. The two hondas are really really quick, they only race on the interstate, and walk everybody. especially 800hp supras. and half-modded vipers.
They also built a 1100+HP mustang, but its not on the site anymore, he kinda went his own way and hangs out with the fuelsluts, which are the muscle guys in town.
If you wanna see fast fast fast cars first hand, move to orlando, or vegas.

that thing is gross. Id like to see them come out to tampa and take on some of the causeway cars. THing of Wangan only shorter but with some pretty tight cars. Theres a guy with a turbo M3 thats silver. Hes only lost to a 860whp Supra that i know of. Maybe there should be a Tampa vs. Orlando showdown or something. I know id go see it

we dont have emissions in Florida. There are tons of crazy modded supras. Ever heard of South Florida Racing or Tampa Racing? There are a lot of cars down here that can really push the envelope cause we have no emissions laws.

Eh the uppipe isnt the one u need to worry about, u can still pass smog with an aftermarket catless uppipe...its the two on the DP that are the key pieces.
