"middle class" folk make 40-100 grand a year, they can most certainly afford an STI. 30,000 dollars is a mid range priced car by any means.

At 28 psi, I guess you can get hella hp out of any engine (that can withstand that much boost without blowing up anyway).

Hell, all subarus are fugly if you ask me. To build that car would cost a hell of lot more than a sti. Those are some impressive numbers regardless. I would hope so at 28psi from a turbo that big and a fully built engine. Nice car, love the sedona red.

GC8's own all
then the new 04-05 imprezas
then mid90's till now legacys
then the bug eye GDB's
then turbo foresters

in that order for looks/cool factor

i only make 30K a year, and im gonna build a gc8 to beat that mother focker, from a roll that is..., im stickin with FWD, not AWD

Very impressive numbers....I wish I had the money to build and then maintain a car like that....so expensive, gas, parts, tuning, labor, its probably double the price of an STi now with all that added up. Hope they have a good tranny!
