I first met Billy at the annual Tri-State Drive last year. My thoughts were two fold: He’s nuts and . . . well, he’s nuts. Two hours in the woods and two popped tires later, I was not having good impressions of this guy. But it would only be a matter of time before my opinions would change and our paths would collided once again. This time, it was to work together to produce both an amazing machine and a work of art.

Billy and Vince of Broken Motorsports are two of the most stand up guys I know in the automotive world. Even before I sent them the car, they were helping me solve my mechanical problems and really trying to help me get the the swap done myself.

But when I couldn’t get the motor out (yes, after seven tries lol), Billy and Vince were ready to work out all the kinks and “Get ‘er done.” They took an inventory of all my stock and aftermarket parts, and advised me on what parts I needed or should get. But it doesn’t end there.

Both Billy, Vince, and Zephyr as well, were all extremely diligent with the work they had to do. This team knows how to work hard and efficiently. Billy promised me back the car in 7 days, and had I given him all the parts he needed and he not run into mechanical problems with the motor, I would have received it in that time. But that’s the nature of all swaps. My point is this, Billy did not let the car leave his shop as a “finished product,” until everything was in working order and up to his standards. No matter what the problem was, it didn’t leave his sight until it was fixed.
