This kit contains a set of 5 gaskets that are critical to replace during up-pipe installation to prevent possible exhaust leakage and performance loss. This kit is available at the retail price of $70 and includes up-pipe to turbo, up-pipe to manifold, turbo to down-pipe, manifold to engine, and manifold to crosspipe.

The gaskets were engineered using proven materials designed for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. Why use all 5 gaskets???

When you do the uppipe install, you have to disassemble the turbo to downpipe in order to get to the bolts to remove the uppipe from the turbo. In addition, you need to remove the manifold to engine and manifold to crosspipe in order for the uppipe to drop down away from the turbo. Hence, it is recommended that you replace all of these gaskets.

The difference between these gaskets and the ones you buy from the dealer (OEM) is in the materal. Instead of 3 thin sheets of metal with a small crush ring for sealing, these gaskets use a material specifically design for sealing in high temperature and high pressure environments. The NHRA Pioneer Avenger Drag Race car used gaskets made of this material.

One area in which there is no difference with the OEM gaskets is fitment. No expense were spared to ensure that the die cuts are to the exact OEM specifications and quality control ensures that every gasket is a perfect fit!

Because of SBR binder in the gasket material, the one temporary downside is a slight burning rubber odor during the first few hours of operation. This will completely disappear so don't worry.
