NJ: parting out entire EJ257/6mt/R180 swap, FP Green + other crazy accompanying mods
I’m literally shedding a tear as I post this…I had a 500 hp Outback project planned, but a change in priorities is forcing me to sell off the parts that I’ve been meticulously accumulating for the past 6 months. Parts and pricing follow. Prices are obo, and do not include shipping. I'd strongly prefer a local sale for the engine and tranny, as shipping costs and hassle are prohibitive. I’m going to try to borrow a good digicam this weekend and take pics of all the parts, which are sitting in my garage:
’04 usdm STi Drivetrain – (10k miles) 6mt, R180, driveshaft, clutch, flywheel, shifter + linkage, shift ****, front/rear axles - SOLD!
Below is the R180 next to the R160 for comparison:
Below is the STi driveshaft (top) next to a WRX driveshaft for comparison:
6mt **** and linkage
EJ257 hybrid engine w/ accessories (originallly a WRX engine, now EJ257 shortblock w/USDM STi cams and ARP head studs)…6k miles on shortblock/cams; full engine assembly, minus turbo, IC, and injectors/fuel rail…it has WRX heads w/ARP head studs(STi cams though), so it’s a direct drop in for WRX owners - $2750
Note that the timing belt needs to be re-installed, as I started to remove the heads to have a local shop port them, but I never did anything more than remove the timing belt covers and belt.
FP Green turbo (7 cm^2 exhaust housing) 3k miles: SOLD!
Utec, revision 4 (4.2 software) for WRX: SOLD!
TurboXS Tuna, new in box: SOLD!
Utec remote map switch and pre-wired launch control switch: SOLD!
'02 WRX front+bulkhead harness and ’02 WRX ecu, partially prepped: $1050
Jdm WRX sedan seats, front/rear: $850
Jdm STi Ver 7 front seats (uber-bolstered): $800 - SOLD!

STi TMIC: SOLD!
Perrin turbo Inlet hose (blue): SOLD!
Perrin CAI (blue): $150
Catless uppipe, not sure what brand: SOLD!

Replied.
Edit:
Here are the STi TMIC pics. I used up the max pics I'm allowed to post in the first post, so I'll edit this one w/the new pics:
Note that this usdm STi TMIC is a bit dirty, and could use some cleaning. It also has its fair share of bug debris and some sand in some fins. The previous owner definitely did not have a hood scoop mesh guard.

Perrin Inlet hose:

The head casting is completely different. I know you can use JDM STi cams in WRX heads. I have done that before. I have not tried to USDM STi cams, but that is what I have been told. I am pretty sure on that one, but if I am wrong, I appologize.
