WTF is wrong with black people?

WTF is wrong when black males are doing worse and worse over time?

I can speak for many whites when I say that a blanket racism does NOT exist in general against blacks, only the f'n cussing and scary looking ones that look like they want to kill you (pants sagging, walking like they have a peg leg, wife beater t-shirt, etc), and that goes for all races. I am aware that some areas like "the south" are still very racist and ignorant, but that's just not the case here.

Schools are practically begging for even somewhat qualified blacks to put in their brochures and diversity resume. Employers today are the same way... bending over backwards and spiting other races just to help those that apply.

I work in high tech and there are several intelligent hard-working black males (and females) and only one walks around looking like a menace to society. My point? Just PRETEND to be a professional even if you like looking like a bumb!

It really pisses me off that people still blame white racism and ignorance for high inprisonment, high death rates, and low employment when to me it seems that black ignorance and racism is part of the problem. Going to school and working hard is not "acting white," it's doing what it takes to get ahead here.

I think rap and the thug style only makes it worse!

Just a typical article where the referenced books blame whites... stupid mf race-baiting authors!

If you can't tell, I'm on board with Cosby on this one!

It's not black people. It's anyone who doesn't feel like they should have to conform to professional standards. Highlighting black people does make your post seem racist and ignorant, even if it (and you) are not.

I see what you're saying here. But I think he's pointing out black males in particular because they are a group that most of us on here can relate to in someway. Also, this "problem" seems to be most prominent with black males. For every 100 black males you may see 2-5 white males mimicking this behavior.

At face value my post might appear racist, but that's the ignorant take on it. I'm merely commenting on that link which states a huge crisis in the black community.

When I was younger I went through a phase where I shaved my head, let my facial hair grow, got an ear-ring, and dressed like a thug. It didn't matter that I was white. People watched me in their stores, thinking I was up to no good.

When you see a black man or woman in a suit or professional clothing do you get scared? What if a filthy white bumb or eminem looking guy is goind door to door... that would make me nervous.

I think it's about the way that people choose to present themselves that has most effect in our society, NOT the color of their skin.

This is absolutely correct. First impressions mean a lot in our society.

The books in the linked article are racist (blame whites), but helping blacks is NOT RACIST. Those dang white devils are trying to help out whatever group fails as a whole.

Then why is your post titled "WTF is wrong with black people". You can rationalize in your own twisted head all you want. But the title of the thread is inflammatory and racist. But then again, that is your hard earned style on this forum.

I'm guessing rap is going to come into this in about 30 minutes or so. Just a reminder!

I agree with helladumb's 3er. post totaly, you are what you where.<- ( sp? )

But also what do you think when you see a white kid with a dorag sagging his pants and talking "gansta". Wiggar!!! Well he met his goal did he not? He tryed to look black and you thought he looked like he was being black. So end of story.

Also i think it's funny when kids in the "nice" neighborhoods and parts of town try to bring in some getteo flavor, but look like a total f@g.
