I'm not touching this topic with a ten foot pole, since it seems like 8 out of 10 people here are Zionists.

Having said that, I agree with this analogy:

I say; **** that desert, nuke it and turn it to glass before the yes of all the religious zealots and fundamentalists.

Maybe that will cease their constant bickering and fighting and can start acting like ****ing men instead of little boys that keep stealing the same lollipop back and forth.

Well if you consider the torah and old testament for their historical and religious value, you will learn that the jews were supposed to expel the filthy rockthrowers from the land, and not doing so is what continues to plague them today.

Also, note that whoever wins all-out war gets the spoils. Somepeople can't seem to grasp this simple concept. In recent times, such struggles are fought without a shot. Just look at how liberalism is quickly destroying this country. We went from Reagan to Obama's communism in 20 years.

Let me just sum thing up by saying La Raza HOLMES!!!! HAHAHAHAH! yehhhhhhhhaaaaa yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhaaaaaaa!

Anyone who calls Obama a full-blown "communist" or "socialist" does not have a real understanding of either of them. Not to mention the fact that he is no more or less socialist in his tendencies than the previous administration--or have you forgotten the Wall St. bailout?

And blaming "liberalism" (which in this country is a joke--it's neo-liberalism, which is corporatism wrapped in the appearance of being progressive) is incredibly one-sided; the balance of liberal and conservative is one of the things that makes for a stable society that does not spin wildly out of control or stagnate and wither away through time. You cannot have one without the other.

The truth is that if you blame "liberals" or "conservatives" for the problems of today, you're just blindly accepting the spin of a corrupt fourth estate. None of them are on your side, they are on the side of whomever fills their coffers, which just so happens to be lobbyists and corporations.

A lot of the information I'm seeing here is incorrect. To start, Palestine was never a state, it was a region occupied by Filistinian people (in Arabic it was Al Filistiniyuun) along the Mediterranean Sea. Ethnically it was very diverse with influence from Bedouin Arabs, Canaanites, and other people brought there because of its strategic proximity between the Occident and the Far East and Arabian Peninsula. In modernity (especially between WWI and WWII and the post war) the land was purchased by Jews from absentia landlords who rented the land to Palestinian farmers. The Zionist movement came with Theodore Hertzl's creation a push for Jewish statehood and the formation of the Jewish National Fund which was used to legally purchase land in Palestine for use and ownership by Jews migrating to the region. This was obviously motivated by the Jews need to defend themselves after WWII as they had always lacked unity because of the diaspora.

In essence, the Jews purchase of Israel was legal without question. What can be scrutinized however is their actions towards Palestinians since the first Arab Israeli War. The case is often compared to apartheid and is especially hypocritical given that the Israelis are taking advantage of the situation. Israelis have a massive military and the Palestinians don't have a sovereign state that's recognized making their cases extremely bias. Evangelicals in the US are the real issue and America and the world in general has never addressed the Palestinian issue. It is a huge reason (definitely the largest) that the United States is resented by many Arab states.
