What a bunch of selfish babies
I couldn't expect anything different from the UN though:

$15 million is part of the initial offerings from the U.S. and they call us stingy? Countries like India wouldn't even have a thriving/rising economy if it wasn't for the middle class we provided them!

It's 35 million now btw. I'd really like to see statistics on how much aid our "allies" donated to us after 9/11 or the 3 hurricanes that just hit florida

15 million between 22,500 victims (after only 3 days of counting, I wouldn't be shocked if the real death toll will eventually come closer to 50,000+) -would be $666.67 per victim.
Be real, 15 million isn't enough to clean up the Thai tourist trap of Phuket, much less the widespread devastation across Sri Lanka and India. 35 million isn't really all that much more in the grand scheme of things
We are working up to having spent about $200billion -SO FAR, (estimates are that we'lll be there another 10+ years) on the Iraq war, which last time I checked wasn't really helping anyone anymore, only creating more victims.

It's like going down on a chick and not getting a hummer or sex in return. The UN and affected counties should be thankful we like to munch box to begin with.

We should help them out, as i would like to think that when 50,000 people get killed by a natural disaster, we have a moral obligation to help if we have the resources.

What makes you think we haven't helped and will continue to send money? It just makes me mad that some sissy-boy in the UN has to jump the gun.
The rest of the world is really frustrated at us right now, so i'm not really suprised when doughboys like that slip.

And if you go over to leftist-Nasioc they mention that the EU, which consists of 25(?) separate countries, has contributed more. They do this so they instead of listing everyone (like France) for their shortcomings.
