New Year's Day, I watching the Animal Planet channel.
The show was called Meercat Manor and was a "series" on the life of a clan of meercats.
Meercats, and perhaps other species of animals as well, do pretty much the same thing.
If a female from clan A is caught mating with a male from clan B, clan A will attack the female, sometimes killing her.
Maybe Darwin was right......
