I can't possibly see any reason to view the tapes...

Nothing changes the fact an American Airlines 757 crashed into the side of the Pentagon with 64 passengers dead. Do you think the passengers vanished into thin air, were abducted by aliens or maybe taken out by the CIA's Mr. Bourne?

There's a difference between hearsay of the 3 individuals subaruguru knew and the staggering number of witnesses that watched from their apartment complexes in Arlington, Roslyn, Pentagon City, Georgetown and Ft. Myer etc. Those that know the downtown Washington D.C. area know that there would be at least 50+ witnesses off the Key Bridge alone. I can even remember hearing the sobbing testimony from witnesses during live coverage in 9/01 that specifically say a passenger jet with two wings and a fuselage.

I also know for a fact my Wife knew 2+ people that were walking to classes as they saw the plane swoop down. Unfortunately, I’d have to get a hold of those that knew them at Oxford and Yale and I don't think I’ll have to probe that deep… or maybe I will to convince you of your hardheadedness. *sigh*

Heheh I love those sites. I got labelled as a "government collaborator" or something on a couple of them because I recognized some of "my" 757 parts in the wreckage. Google for geared rotary actuator and Pentagon and it should come up.

Here is the part you referenced:

However, who's to say it wasnt placed there later? Looks kind of staged, eh? Just playing the role of conspiracy theorist

Looking at this picture, and knowing that the 757 hit the building fairly low, it is surprising to see so little damage to the area in fron of the building as well as the sides of the main point of contact

That part was obviously planted, there is no way that the caution tape would be circling it so perfectly after such a wreck!

Keep in mind that the Pentagon structure is VERY well reinforced, so areas that weren't directly contacted may have held up very well. As the video points out, that wing just finished going through renevations, on of which was blast proof windows (with a polymer layer very similar to vehicle windshields) which could help to explain why the windows near by still seem to be mostly intact. Like I said ina previous post, it is very tough for us non physiscs majors to knwo what would happen to materials given EXTREAM situations.

That building contains some of America’s most treasured secrets and you think they’re going to make it out of silly putty? I’m willing to bet the skeleton of that structure can pass a building inspection after gutting it 10 times over.

You're forgetting one big thing... if it were a missile then where did the 64 dead passengers go? Did the government successfully take out 64 people in 1 hour and hide them in a secret morgue?

And if the 757 flew into the drink surely there would have been a handful of witnesses on the shore and/or merchant marines.

The economics of the missile theory don't cut the cake in the slightest because there would have been FAR less repercussions for society. If anything, I'm sure the government wishes it had been a missile after our economy went into the toilet, transportation stocks & companies were for ****, thousands of people lost their jobs and everyday since has been in the yellow or higher.

God, sorry to bring this back up guys, but after watching this and really thinking about the physics involved, i don't know if i believe that a 757 did that damage. It doesn't make sense to me. The way the walls were peirced is very odd, and does make me thing that the craft would have to have been flying extremely low. Now, to fly a 757 at 2 feet off the ground at 500 mph is an amazing stunt. I've flown cessnas 15 feet off the ground at 90mph, and it was pretty damn hard. I can't imagine attempting this with a 757. I don't know....have i got too far into tinfoil hat land?

Is it really that unbelievable that it might have not been a 757?

...if it was a missile, it would have gone through all the layers and then blown up...so the innermost ring would collapse, not the outer most like what actually happened...
also, if you look at the video of the WTC's getting hit...the holes look very similar to the one in the pentagon...
...this video doesn't offer ANY physics as evidence that it wasn't a plane...other than the flight height...but take one of those pics of the trail left in the ground of other plane crashes they have in that video...now imagine that 10 feet from the begining of one of the skids there's a building...and it would look like the pentagon does...
...you want debris? check inside the pentagon...the wings and tail wouldn't have sheared off, they'd bend into the body, and once it all entered the building and started getting scraped and torn apart, it would wind up being scattered all in the building and would be indistinguishable from the building debris...
