Tennessee Firearms Freedom Act.

Bill Would Prevent Federal Government from Regulating Firearms in TN

Huzzah!!!

Tennessee lawmakers may soon send the federal government a loud messagehands off our guns.

A new law is under consideration that would say if firearms are manufactured and sold inside the state of Tennessee, federal gun law would not apply.

won't a federal law still supercede a state law?

it will be interesting if this comes to the supreme court. Before the feds said that if California legalized pot, that the FBI would make arrests.

I am all for states rights, it would be nice if the feds would leave the stats alone and let them make their own governing laws (well most of the laws as it is).

Would have been better if Tennessee could have rallied support from other states to do that same thing. That might have put more momentum behind this.

But good for Tennessee for forging the path. I hope they pull it off.
