New guy from Tennessee

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting a Impreza and would like some info and help from yall. I found a 2006 2.5i wagon for sale locally and wondering what problems there are and what to look for in em. Right now I've got a 2002 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 with some mods on it. I'm needing to sell it and get different vehicle because of mpg's since next fall I'll be driving a 2+ hr commute to school every day.
Heres a link to the Subie i mentioned:

Welcome to i-club. You probably don't want to pick up a WRX or STI for a 2 hour commute. (:

I'm not looking at the WRX or Sti's, dont need a car that fast or expensive. I'm just looking at a 2.5i wagon right now

nice taco. I personally don't know much about the 2.5i's, but I've never heard of any issues with them before.

Oh and welcome to i-club.

thanks man i love it to death, I just don't need a truck right now so I'm kinda trying to get rid of it for something else like a Impreza, Civic, mazda3, or corolla.

thanks man. btw just found out some important info on that subie im looking at in chattanooga. apparently the dealership buys salvaged/repairables off insurance companies and auto auctions and fix them and sell 'em so one of the guys on NASIOC told me to email em asking for more info and pics of it wrecked. I'll post the pic up here in a second. I don't know how subies hold up in wrecks so def need yalls opinion on this.

Damn that's a rough looking Subie. I guess as long as it's fixable without compromisig the integrity of the car it seems ok.
Then again I don't do much body repair.

do i need to edit it to ma'am instead of man? lol. Yeah I'm no body technician either. It looks like it wasn't too bad bc the fenders and everything on the front look like they line up alright.

As long as everything lines up and the body isn't mega tweekd I think youre ok. Hard to tell from pics.

Yeah I'm a ma'am but you dont have to edit it.

Welcome to i-Club.
You should get rid of that taco and get a Subaru Impreza
that would be a great move.
