See the military can spell. It is not the military's fault for what is going on. We can not just say, we want to do it this way. There is a chain of command that gives orders and we do as we are told. Sometimes it sucks, but it works. Overall, we as a country need to stop fighting ourselves and come together and get everyone on the same page to help get us out of a sh!tty situation.

I find it funny we went after a man who opposed terrorist... oh wait but it was a "genocide"... yet we leave darfur and other genocides alone... weird...

Allied deaths in the Civil War?

Try again sparky, those are American casualty numbers only.

Hands down WWII wins in max deaths, especially when you take in the civilian deaths (Holocaust + Atomic bombs) but don't be a typical politician by just throwing up the first set of numbers that supports your cause.
Again, I listed "Combat" deaths of American troops only in the first post.
Look at your facts on WWII and the end of the war. The wars were "basically" over when the leaders were removed from power. Hussein has been out of power for a bit now, and we are still fighting.
That is because the enemy stopped fighting in those wars because we used an overwhelming show of force and brought them to their kneew. If our population had the ***** to support our president now, like it did then we would be in a different situation. Civilian casualties of war are just not accepted any more from "The Good Guys" like they were in the past and like they are still by "The Bad Guys."
My statement about Iraq setting new records every day was wrong.
At least you are big enough to admit that.
But remember that in November we'll have been involved in Iraq longer than we were involved in WWII. (WWII = 1244 days vs. Iraq = 1317) and there is no end in sight.
Some things take longer than others, that is a fact of life and a byproduct of the pus-sification of America.
Whoever takes office in 2008 will inherit Bush's failing legacy.
As Bush inherited the previous administrations failures. This is also a fact of life.
Kind of hard to compare WWII to Iraq/Afghanistan. Size of the Military then versus now....
Yeah, our military was bigger then and were allowed to do what had to be done to win.
Also, look at the fact that according to Bush....this war was over back in May 2003. If Bush was right, Iraq should have been on the road to recovery by now...IF you want to compare Iraq to WWII.
I believe he said that the "Major Conflict" was over. We are now involved in several minor altercations day to day as opposed to a military vs. military war like in previous conflicts. Again, this is nothing that carpet bombing couldn't solve.
Bush is a failure. Plain and simple. As someone else already stated what about the issues within the US?
Does everything you touch end up in success - I am talking about something that EVERYONE sees as a success? If you answer no to this question - you are a failure as well. There is more than one side to every situation...
Our situation at home with last years devistating Hurricanes further highlighted his **** poor management of this nation.
backpedal and point in another direction when you see you are wrong, you learned that from Kerry didn't you?
