so i think i only saw 2-3 countys(in California) that were against this... the rest were for it. So you guys need to stop crying and let it go, the people have spoken!

Until there is an injunction and the supreme court overturns it again becuase it is an amendment that denies rights to a document intended to protect rights. And the supreme court did not indicate they thought it should be amended, they interpreted that proposition 22 to be illegal under the current state consititution and in order for it to be legal, the state constitution would need to be amended.

And the court will overturn it. And the supporters/bigots who felt lying was the only way to get this passed will get all butthurt again and try to pass this through yet again. I think we all know how the fight against interracial marriage ended up, hopefully in 50 years we will be saying the same thing about gay marriage.

There is no county electoral college, and it was more than 3 counties, Alameda, Coco, SF, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz all voted no. almost 48% of Californians said no, I wouldnt call 52% the voice of the people.
