Back on subject, I don't think anything you guys have said has adressed or refuted any points I made at the beginning:
So, am I not being objective in this assessment? Do I sound biased against the military also? If you think I am, you are sorely mistaken- like I said before, I make an effort to explain sides of arguments that don't seem to be understood by many, whether it be due to a general hate of everything liberal or whatever. In this case, the blantant disrespect exhibited overshadows any reasonable point brought up, especially toward the particular group that was disrespected. So I guess I don't expect you to be able to agree with anything he says- but I feel you're (justafiably) not hearing any fair points he may make.

I'm gay.
It's something that I've struggled with, and even hid from myself for years.
But now is the time for me to be honest with myself, and others.
I can hear the jokes now....people always knew because I love club music, and things like that, but the honest truth is, this is who I am.
This obviously will mean the end of my marriage, as it's not fair to her or myself to continue a marriage just for the kid. Despite that, my daughter will know her father, and I will be in her life.
I'm happier now that I've "come out" and I guess I'll find out who my true friends are now.
