Still want to vote for him?

How could Obama's hand in this help?
So wait he was like the 8th lawyer on the case? WOW...He must be responsible for the economic crisis we are currently in.

McCain and Palin have such impeccable pasts it's a wonder why they aren't ahead in the polls. Must be there solid economic and foreign policies. Or maybe it's because their entire campaign for the last month has just been to ask questions about Obama the anti-American terrorist who wants to steal your money and take your jobs.

Republican campaign: Even though Obama has only been in the senate for 3 years, we can't seem to convince any independents that our policies are actually better than his. Lets dig up his entire past and criticize anyone that he's ever met...... Oh that's not working either??? ****, we really don't have anything else but.... MAVERICK!

Same old stuff. Republican's can't seem to get any more votes by having a better plan for the country, so why not just criticize every trivial aspect about the opponent, who's currently ahead in the polls.
I don't support the GOP party, but I really don't like the BS about Obama.

Obama's support for a person that endorses genocide is trivial?
His role in forcing banks to make bad loans is trivial?

He endorses genocide and forced banks to make bad loans? The truth can only be stretched so far till it breaks.

McCain spent 5 years in a tiger box, does he endorse torture and communism? I mean, 5 years is a long time to be influence by those crafty Vietcong.

Like I said, it sucks when people have to resort to trying to tie you to every person you met. After all, don't you endorse and share the beliefs and ideals from everyone you talk to? Don't you pal around with them?

I see your point.
Many aspects go into the making of a person's character, what they believe in/stand for, etc.

Let's talk about his record.

You go first.

The Ethics Committee ruled that the involvement of McCain in the scheme was also minimal, and he too was cleared of all charges against him. McCain was criticized by the Committee for exercising "poor judgment" when he met with the federal regulators on Keating's behalf. The report also said that McCain's "actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him....Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate."On his Keating Five experience, McCain has said: "The appearance of it was wrong. It's a wrong appearance when a group of senators appear in a meeting with a group of regulators, because it conveys the impression of undue and improper influence. And it was the wrong thing to do."

Regardless of the level of their involvement, both senators were greatly affected by it. McCain would write in 2002 that attending the two April 1987 meetings was "the worst mistake of my life". Glenn has described the Senate Ethics Committee investigation as the low point of his life.

The Senate Ethics Committee did not pursue, for lack of jurisdiction, any possible ethics breaches in McCain's delayed reimbursements to Keating for trips at the latter's expense, because they occurred while McCain was in the House. The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct said that it too lacked jurisdiction, because McCain was no longer in the House. It said it did not require that McCain amend his existing financial disclosure forms for his House years, on the grounds that McCain had now fully reimbursed Keating's company.
If you can point fingers at McCain for this transgression, how do you ignore all the issues with Obama?

I respect everyone's opinion on here. I'm not backing Obama, and I'm not pointing fingers at McCain. I think this is nonsense politics. I don't see anything unearthed about either candidate's that concerns me about their ability to lead this country. I'm much more concerned about their policies and how they propose to implement them during their term.

I try not to take part the "us vs them" or the "who is he really?" mentalities. I want to here realistic plans on how to navigate our country through hard times. I want to know how our lives are going to be affected. Neither one of them has said much regarding detailed plans which is very disappointing.

Obama and McCain have become the standard partisan robots of the party they represent. It seems too much to ask for some new and effective ideas. I don't want to hear about how they were war heroes, be patronized by a folksy "dog gonnit", here about the poor home town of Scranton, or listen to speeches about why we're tired of G. W. Bush.

I want answers, not stories.

100% agree i think they're spending too much time talking about each other rather then there plans for presidency. These debates are getting more and more repetitive, talking about the same damn issues they have against each other over and over..

OBAMA FIRES A 'ROBIN HOOD' WARNING SHOT

****ing Socialist.

WASHINGTON - You won't find it in his campaign ads, but Barack Obama let slip his plans to become a modern-day Robin Hood in the White House, confiscating money from the rich to give to the poor...

..."It's not that I want to punish your success," Obama told him. "I want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success, too.

Then, Obama explained his trickle-up theory of economics.

"My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

This hasn't been a secret or anything. This is basic democratic ideals, nothing new. These are the ideas we get when the trickle down doesn't trickle down.

Neither party has the right idea, which is why they are always fighting with eachother.

Yeah, what is said is basically what we are doing already with the progressive tax, but, he wants to milk it a little more.

I'm not for that tax system, then again, if I had the power, I'd make a flat tax at about 15%, and then throw out all credits, write offs and loopholes.

you max A money times .11 = what you pay, or you go to jail... simple, fair, easy...

You know what would happen? Rich people would be Pissed off. Cause even though i just make their tax rate 1/4 what it is today, they have no loopholes.

I ****ing hate loopholes.
