You are too young to be so cynical

We can change this country and we will
Nah, it will change itself, all we concerned folk can do is sit back and hold our breath and scan the sky for falling bombs. Look back through history and every 10 to 20 years there is a shift from left to right, from right to left - so, after this country gets fed up with the right it will swing back left and the new equivalent to grunge will come out of some rainy town. As a musician this is good for me, however i don't think the mathrock scene is about to go platinum.

I know, im cynical - just my nature.

I don't think they actually believe they will bring the economy to it's knees, their goal is to merely express disagreement with the current state of things, and to try to get the attention of those in charge.
You're right... It'll just bring small business owners to their knees. Good Call!

There you trying to think again, scoobsport98? What do you think I am? A Right-wing Conservative? Hardly.

I am against the idea of protests because they don't work and are a big waste. It's basically the same exact frustration constellation has but from another angle. I'm not against the right to have such protests or the right to be heard in the slightest.

I always laugh at the people that where that. I've met more than a few people that wear those shirts who have no idea who he is. Even more have no idea he was a communist.

The reason I personally wouldn't rock the Che shirt is how he treated people. His being a communist doesn't **** me off at all. Crimes against humanity trancend political systems.

"DOWN WITH CAPITALISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...... .................buy our new album to find out how - at your local walmart, tower, and bestbuy"

one of my favorite bands, "godspeed you black emperor!" are totally against capitalism - which makes it a ***** to buy their album - i could care about their politics less. They rock harder than.................MANOWAR.

His being a communist doesn't **** me off, it just that people have no idea what he stood for but they rock the shirt because all the hip young Latinos are doing it.

They dont have any vocals - it's like a 15 peice band from canada - and the only song i can think of that they allowed into a movie is from 28 days later when the dude is realizing everyone is gone. They go from long and quite to all the sudden everyone playing as hard as they can. 3 drummers, 2 bassists, 3 guitarists, glockenspiel, violin, cello, ect. RICKITYRAWK!

I'm not thinking, I'm just observing. Constellation referred to how hopeless protesting and showing your disapproval of the president was, and your original post was poking fun (with a laughing smiley, I might add...) at a similarly futile effort from the left to be 'heard.' Sorry if you took my next post the wrong way, you don't have to be a conservative to laugh at protesters- but it does make it easier, right?

When did I infer you were a 'right wing conservative'? If you didn't catch it, I was agreeing with you in that I also think protests weren't very effective. But like I said before, how else can people make their disapproval known?
