No boost for Kerry after convention

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...ll-kerry_x.htm

WASHINGTON — Last week's Democratic convention boosted voters' views of John Kerry but failed to give him the expected bump in the race against President Bush, a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll finds.
In the survey, taken Friday and Saturday, Kerry trailed Bush 50%-46% among likely voters. Independent candidate Ralph Nader was at 2%.

The survey showed Kerry losing 1 percentage point and Bush gaining 4 percentage points from a poll taken the week before the Boston convention.
Even though these types of polls can be inaccurate it shows you that Bush may have the slight lead in popularity. We still have the RNC and Debates left so we'll see what happens... In the end the election day poll is all that matters.

actually that has nothing to do with it... it is the electoral college that matters and presently Bush has a commanding lead over Kerry.

Kerry once again became a flip-flopper. They went from all-out race and class warfare speech, to the freak-show, to a twisted show of patriotism. I've never heard so much fake patriotism in my life.

The more I learn about Kerry the more I'm certain GW will be re-elected.

The wink must be an ultra-subtle inference that it doesnt matter, but really falls into the hands of the electoral college

Fact of the matter is that Bush got the boost from the convention, because the extremist democrat message is repelling even moderate democrats.
