Let's make our terrorism response known
To stop any further terrorist strikes on U.S. soil, let's publicly announce what our response will be to any terrorist strike on U.S. soil.
In a like manner to how Kennedy warned Russia that any strike from Cuba would result in a counter-strike against Russia, we should warn the major islamic nations that unless they reel in and squash their extremist goons, we will strike islamic capitals of our choosing in the case of a major terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
In addition, we will nuke Mecca to the point that it'll glow for 10,000 years.
Oh, and when we send relief, we'll send pork packets and blankets soaked in pig fat.
Think it would work? I do.
