Ok, so I keep seeing articles about extravagant plots, complicated schemes, and so on regarding supposed terrorist plots. This one regarding divers, is yet the latest: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7244239/site/newsweek/

Not pretending to be an expert or anything, but don't you think the next attack would have to be "spectacular?" I mean, who cares if a couple tankers, a single bridge, or one port falls victim to "Jihad?"

The twin towers and the way in which they were brought down scored a direct hit on the fears of many Americans, and I think it's reasonable to assume that subsequent attack inside the U.S. would strategically be of similar impact, especially if plotted by the same minds.

"IF" another attack is going to occur, I'd be willing to bet it will be widespread, and well coordinated. Statistically, there has to be thousands of individuals in this country loyal to the cause of Jihad, and even many non-muslims who would like the U.S. out of our current role in Global affairs, individuals willing to commit treason- offering aid and comfort to the enemy.

Jihadists and their American accomplices have infiltrated our power companies, mass transit firms, shipping companies, mail delivery positions, security, police, and military roles, etc. They are in our malls, at our workplace, and in our neighborhoods. They could hit us from so many angles that we won't know which way is up. We owe it all to our culture of generosity, or in other words, immigration. (not that I am against immigration, but policies should be looked at carefully)

I hope I am wrong.

I agree that they would want to carry out their next attack on a grand scale.

I just think it will be alot harder to carry out any type of plan that would involve hijacking and expecting the hijacked to sit still like they did on 9/11. The next attack will have to be something that doesn't involve a hijacking.

But that's just a guess.

Me too....Ironically I have seen 24 and that whole bit about infiltrating our power companies is the whole basis for this season.....That's why I thought that.
