Do I know anyone who's passed the boards? Hahaha...that's funny. My boss, and half the people I work with. Not to mention 2 of my close friends from HS who are in the midst of their board exams (they span a couple years).

You're right, the boards is like a mechanics qualifying test. I've always made the comparison that Drs are mechanics. The only reason we require them to go through school and difficult board testing is to make sure they care enough to not make mistakes. Being a Dr is no harder than being a mechanic (especially some Dr types and some types of cars hahaha).


What I am definatly saying is, if a Dr has passed his/her boards and is practicing medicine legally, I will trust them to do their job. Regardless of race/ethnicity/reason they were admited to Med school/class/creed....it all doesn't matter at that point.

 

Cummon... are you really serious? When it comes down to the surgeon I want the one with the most experience and best track record, regardless of race. Some would actually go with their own race regardless of record!

But on another note, I'd hate to have a surgical instrument left inside my body because someone in the room spoke with a heavy accent!

 

ok, i agree we have to do something about the over population. but heres my question for all to answer:


if someone is here illegally or legally (someone from another country) what does it matter whether they are legal or not, they are still here regardless. Now I was born here and I am white (not that that matters one bit) but my best friend is from Trinidad. Hes been here for 12 years (hes 22) does that mean he should go back too? How many people do you know or are friends with that are from another country? Is the person you know that has a "green card" any better or worse than the person that doesnt?

 

The reason it matters is that by giong through the process we are able to screen these people for one.

Do you like it when you are waiting at dmv for an hour and some ***** cuts in front of you?

The third reason is that legal immigrants pay taxes, thus putting into the social programs they may or may not use, where as illegals make cash money, send half of it back to mexico, don't pay taxes and leech off our social programs making it much more expensive than it needs to be when you need medical attention.

That's the difference between a legal immigrant and a criminal leach.

 

man, are you kidding me? No taxes, ever since Ive benn old enough to work ive been trying to figure out a way to not pay taxes, 8 yrs ago. I say f*uck the govt, let them get there money elsewhere. They take 20%-25% of your paycheck every week. and yet we are still one of the poorest govt's around. last year alone they took damn near 10k from me and then still said I owe them money! F*UCK THE IRS AND THE GOVT!!!!

I do agree with the screening process of imigrants though. But man, no taxes, thats the way to go! How does paying taxes benifet you? More police? that half are crooked or were picked on as kids so they take it our on society instead of helping people? Do you get health care? No. they take your money so they can waste money on a 3 1/2 year war that puts us in the same position as when we started.

 

and!!!!! You are more capable of getting a federal grant if your from another country, whether it be to start a business or buy a home, the govt helps them more than they help their own people!!! dont mean to yell or rant on, but i hate this subject. as im sure you can tell.

Don't be mad at them cuz you screwed up on your taxes and didn't pay the right amount. If you think they did it wrong, review it, get audited, fight it in court, or just simply deal with it and move on.

You're probably too young, and in too good of health, to recieve gov't help for healthcare. Again, don't take this out on the government. You'll get your chance. Not saying that you should go disable yourself so you can recieve it though. And I don't know when the last time was that you drove on a road, but that is funded by State and Federal taxes. Police are mainly funded by local taxes. You need to do some research and learn how much stuff is actually funded, or partially funded, by the government. I think you'd be surprised.

 

i think its safe to say mexicans comprise a lot of illegals in the US. but think back to history, whites took over northamerican land, land that belonged to native americans. native americans are closely related to mexicans... just a thought...

This immigration deal sounds like a joke. Why 5 years? I can see the "cinqo anos" slogans everywhere... BS. Can you imagine anyone saying they hadn't been here 5 years? No employer is going to say they broke the law either, so how are they going to prove they've been here?

 

easy. they must do their income tax report for at least 5 years by two ways:

one for people that had been working with fakes ssn, they already have w-2 forms with their names but fake ssn on it some will get some money back and some will paid but that how it is for everyone right?.

and for the rest who didn't get a w-2 bcz they get paid under the table well they get to do their income tax too, but they pay, a lot. but as the previous one that’s the way it is.

i like the check criminal records thing, this law should only help good-to-become citizens

1: Your post is very hard to read. You might want to work on that.
2: Your way of proving if an illegal has been here for 5 years or not is flawed. They are saying people that have ALREADY been here for 5 years, not that WILL be here for 5 years. And without a W-2, and having been paid under the table, how are they going to 1) do taxes, and 2) verify their income, let alone the amount of their income?


If this Bill does/did get passed, I think it's going to create an even bigger mess. Do you really expect the illegals to just line up for deportation? I hope you don't. So good luck filtering through all 11+million of them to figure out the onces that have been here for 5+ years and which ones haven't.
