For ****'s sake...Kennedy was the first openly Catholic president.
The Dems from Dixie were most certainly overtly religious.

The (ir)Religious Right aligns itself w/ the GOP, but that does not make the GOP any more "religious" than the Dems.

Exactly, he didn't have to be the religion of most of his constituancy

Yep, they WERE overtly religious...until the time period you brought up. And even before then, only the Southern pieces of the Democratic party were religious...

Well, except for the fact that a major GOP strategist claimed in an interview last night that the difference between the GOP and the Dems+Old GOP is that they are now a religious party...(I'm trying to find a reference for it, it's proving difficult to track down) Oh, and the fact that the GOP wins elections based on their religion and their willingness to legislate the morality of their religion...like the quote from that article implies.

I know not ALL republicans are religious, but the reason republicans win elections is their religion. I mean...just look what happens to republicans when they stray from supporting Evangelical morals: defeat at every turn.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Thats the funniest piece of **** I have ever read in my life. You consider clinton ****ing a 19 or 20 year old women worse than a 52 year old man sexually harrasing underaged kids? Actually what he tried to do is considered in Florida a felony of the second degree. http://www.ageofconsent.com/florida.htm So trying to commit a felony is as bad as lieing about having sex with a legal partner? You crack me up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no party lines?! Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Yet you feel a person having sex and lieing about it is as bad as someone trying to commit a felony? Yep, you don't go by party lines. You also believe fox did that by accident!

No it involves a huge amount of individuals covering someone trying to commit a felony. Oh the irony of this statement. A little sex and you think Clinton is the devil but a guy trying to commit a felony, well its just a little phone sex scandal.

But that would be most of Congress.
No, it would be the Republicans that would be hanged in this instance. I love how you rationalize this by saying, "Well I'm sure the Democrats do it as well!" Like that lessens what this guy has been caught doing. This is especially key since the Republicans have billed themselves as the MORAL right and called the Democrats heathens.

Yeah that you are full of it if you believe this was an accident by Fox News. That you are full of it if you think what Clinton did is worse. That you are full of it if you think it wasn't covered up by the party leaders. Yeah Dre is right about that and onto something.

Unregistered, as usual, a day late & dollar short.

1. I don't believe this was an accident.
2. The "kid" wasn't a kid.
3. I'm aware of the felony charge of what Foley did/attempted to do. Do you realize oral is a crime in most states, including DC? Let me spell it out for you: Clinton & "that woman" commited a felony.
4.Unlike you, my opinions on a person are formed from more than one attribute. I dislike Clinton for things far more serious than crashing his yoghurt truck on some ho'.

Go sober up.

You might want to read up on how this came to pass. Believe what you want but that does not change the fact of the matter of what he has done, neither does it lessen it. Also what has been done to hide it and who knew. The funniest part of it all is that you are saying this is political yet you what do you think what happened to Clinton was? Apperently that doesn't lessen to you how "bad" it was what Clinton did. Yet for Foley, well thats just a different story. HAHAHAH

Ahh, I see a 16 year old is no longer a kid. He is now consider an adult by you and hence should be able to vote and have relations with anyone he wants. Like lets say a 52 year old man? Yeah Im sure you would be ok with a 52 year old man coming over to your house to pick up your kid to sleep with. After all your kid would be considered an adult at 16.

Oh this is classic. Trying to compare a blow job between two LEGAL adults to a 52 year old man going after a 16 year old kid. Thats just plain classic. Even better you are comparing a law that is ridiculous and you would have no chance of getting arrested for to a law that is not ridiculous that is there to protect minors. I'm sure you have never gotten a blow jobs in any state that it was a crime to. Im sure tons of individuals that get blow jobs in those states are arrested each day! Damn it they are breaking the law! HAHAHAH

I'm sure you do! When did I ever say different? But I love the use of the classic Clinton defense vs something that has NO defense. How you so quickly try to lessen the acts of what Foley did because of Clinton and a BLOW JOB. You even compared the fact that a Blow Job is illegal in D.C. to that of a guy trying to commit an act of molestation to a minor! If you don't call that party lines then what do you call it?

You should sober up. Do you have ANY idea how stupid you sound? You actually tried to compare a BLOW JOB to child molestation. Man what world do you live in where those two are even close to being comparable by the eye of the law. You sir are pathetic.
