My very first job was as a cashier at a McD's when I was 15.5 years old...

One morning some middle aged african american woman and her son come in, and as they walk in I notice the lady is carrying a large McDonalds softdrink cup...

She gets to the counter and DEMANDS that we give her a free meal because the "fresh brewed ice tea" that we sold her hour prior was spoiled (we didn't, we didn't even sell the ice tea of which she stated she bought at our restaurant), so I informed her "Maam, sorry, but we don't sell ice tea at this specific store, are you sure you didn't go to a different store?"

She flipped out on me so hardcore, saying that I called her a liar, etc, etc (when clearly she was the liar). My manager came running up and gave her a free meal and his words to me were "Just let them have their stinking free meal, it's not worth our stress to deal with them, so just get them out of here as fast as you can".

It was sad seeing her son have to tag along... I could tell he DID NOT want to be there with her and was hiding behind her the whole time... He had to of been around 6 years old.


I'll never forget that damn *****.
