Clinton did his share, just as Bush did his, at "ruining" the economy.
Transfering wealth...w/o working for it...****s everything up.

So now that the Dems controll 2/3 of the gov't, everything will be fine?
No more excuses.

You already know how I feel about the Democrats -- the same as I do about the Republicans. They're all corporatist plutocrats interested only in gaining more power and wealth. I'm just saying that people freaking out about Obama is over-reactionary if you examine the actions and effects of prior presidents.

No matter what, with very few exceptions, career politicians should not be trusted.

I read it just fine. You said that unemployment is on the rise. The article clearly states the following, which is in direct opposition to what you wrote:

The number of Americans filing initial unemployment claims fell sharply last week
There were 565,000 initial jobless claims filed in the week ended July 4, down 52,000 from a revised 617,000 the previous week, the Labor Department said.
It was the lowest number since January and was below the consensus estimate of 603,000 from economists surveyed by Briefing.com.
If new unemployment claims are declining, that is an indicator of unemployment NOT being on the rise, as you claimed it was.

You should work in Spin Alley.

He said:
14.7 Million and rising unemployed
I read that as "14.7 million and rising... unemployed" not "14.7 million... and rising unemployment". Just because there are fewer unemployment claims being filed, doesn't mean the total number isn't still going up.

You are really thick...
Scenario:
On Mon. 100 people are standing in a room.
On Fri. 20 people joined them in the room
The next Mon There are 120 people in a room
The next Fri only 10 people joined them
How many people are in the room? Are there more people the second Fri than the first Mon?

Obama is a naive phony. Before your very eyes a socialist revolution is underway. The United States as we knew it; The United States which was intended, is no more. Obama's not the only one to blame. This is the change the idiots want, so be it. Just let it be known there's no comin' back.
We'd be in the same boat if any of the other major candidates were President.

Nothing was going to be fixed, at least not in the first few years. They all had policies drawn up to give the thinly veiled illusion that they were making things better, but at the end of the day, we are as screwed now as we were back in November last year.

There's always going to be the "grass is always greener" syndrome. Where people will always insist that this is the absolute worst time in American history and the country is on the verge of assplosion. There almost seems to be a false dichotomy as if XYZ was in charge or ABC policy was implemented, then everything would be so much better, but since XYZ or ABC didn't happen, we're all ****ed no matter what.
