That's what everyone said in 2000. I think things would be a lot different now if Gore had been in office. Wether you think things would be better or worse, there is no disputing that our current situation would be vastly different.

gasoline powered cars would be illegal(or nearly). nuclear powered plants would be shut down. and our military would be reduced by half.
