Straw man argument. I never said anything about Hiroshima or Nagasaki.

No sense in pointing out something that can not be changed.

It wasn't an argument. It was a question. Is there a "straw man question"?

My pappy once told me (he lived through WW2) "Although I never approved of the POW camps for the Japanese - I always looked at it in the way that at least they were mostly safe in there. Had they been outside those walls (especially in California and Hawaii) much, much, much worse things would have happened to them."

I agree with him - I won't condone it but I'll bet it saved a few lives.

Shipping US citizens to a "resort" in the desert is pales in comparison to nuking a city.

Do you like eating cheeseburgers or driving in snow?

You're damned skippy it does; a prison camp in a foreign country as an overt means of circumventing the United States Constitution? That doesn't **** you off?

I don't believe that things can't be changed. The first step is awareness.

Well then if your question was nothing more than an innocent query comparing the two, then I'll answer: they're both horrible and I refuse to compare them because doing so diminishes the importance of each.

JFK was NOT a great president. Hell for most of his short presidency he did NOTHING that his campaign promised. Screw up after screw up.

Do some true honest research on JFK and you'll open your eyes to the farce that was his presidency.
