I certianly did not intend to suggest that anyone was an idiot for independent thinking, but rather that some are in an idiotic and naive group-think

Who really gives a **** if they sell that book there. If you don't want to read the book then don't buy it. No one is forcing anyone to read it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and make some constructive criticisms. First off, faith is a personal thing. If you believe in God in any form then that's your call. Personally, I do. I emphasize the word personally. I had certain things happen to me that made me believe there is something more than us (something more powerful) so I choose to believe. If you don't believe I respect that, because it's a free country and I love that everyone can choose. But for Helladumb to come on here and "witness" to an entire forum to me is wrong. I know that in Helladumbs eyes he sees himself as a witness of Jesus Christ but why can't we just have an intellectual conversation without bringing speculation in to it. I know that the proof of Jesus Christ's existence will never be proven. That doesn't change the fact that I believe.

What I'm getting at here is is it so hard to just throw you personal beliefs aside and look at things without reservations? Every arguement we get in on here is because one side or the other refuses to see things from another perspective.

I know I sound like a Bible thumping hippie but think about it.
