HOLY HELL! WTF is wrong with California?!!?!!
Taken below from one of my other forums. I found a new hobby and hope to progress with it in the future, but maybe I can't in California. I'm sure people like Daniel and Egan are well aware of this, but **** like this makes me glad I'm going to move OUT of this piece of **** socialist anti-anything state.

This is an update on Assembly Bill 2062...
Three anti-gun bills are making their way through the California Senate and it is imperative that you voice your opposition to them.
Assembly Bill 2062 was passed by the Senate Public Safety Committee on Tuesday, June 17. The bill now heads to the Senate Appropriations Committee for its consideration.
Sponsored by State Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-45), AB2062 would make it a crime to privately transfer more than 50 rounds of ammunition per month, even between family and friends, unless you are registered as a "handgun ammunition vendor" in the Department of Justice's database. Ammunition retailers would have to be licensed and store ammunition in such a manner that it would be inaccessible to purchasers. The bill would also require vendors to keep a record of the transaction including the ammunition buyer's name, driver's license, the quantity, caliber, type of ammunition purchased, and right thumbprint, which would be submitted to the Department of Justice. All ammunition sales in the state of California would be subject to a $3 per transaction tax. Lastly, mail order ammunition sales would be prohibited. Any violator of AB2062 would be subject to civil fines.

how the hell would they enforce that? If i give my buddy Erik 50 bullets, how are the police going to keep track of the fact that I had reached my limit for the month?

yes, because thats whats behind gun crimes, you just have too much ammo on hand at any given time and figure,
"Well, better start shooting people, look at all these extra bullets I got laying around!"

More stupid laws that will do absolutely nothing. Scary part is that some Californians are stupid enough to vote pro on this crap, remember the attempted SF gun ban that received the majority vote?
Voting should be a privilege attained only after one proves they're mentally capable of the responsibility.

Wow that would never pass, and who cares if people have to register for handgun ammo usage?
Is it really that big of a deal to you, how often do you shoot your handgun?
Dude if you think California is bad you should try spending some time in other states.
California is one of the freest states there is, you can read or post articles anywhere but day to day life if you think California is cutting back your freedoms compared to other US states you are gravely mistaken.
