"Greenspan Says 2.5% Growth Possible in Third Quarter"

One of Google's Top Headlines!

How is this a headline? This is absolutely absurd. WHAT GROWTH? People spending money (aka the GDP) is NOT growth!

Maybe some houses sold and it was better than last month, but that doesn't mean anything about housing prices going anywhere. If anywhere at all, it would be sinking still. Houses are still too overpriced.

Bunch of media rubbish! Just like how the media loves to run around pointing fingers for racism.

everyone is just trying to bolster as much confidence as possible so stupid americans will buy stock at this time.

true wall street confidence won't happen until all the foreclosures are over and that's not until 2011.

I've already called for a stronger 4th qtr vs last year in retail sales. this is because americans haven't learned jack **** are going to go buck wild in the malls this Christmas season, and yeah, the deals are going to be insane. Many retailers will not survive another dead 4th qtr.

and once that starts, finally, commercial real estate market will finally drop, many malls will close down and there will be abundant commercial property at cheap prices.

all this will keep the market flat, if people are smart. But its ok, let them buy into the hype that we've hit bottom.
