Thats my point you don't even know how many whites got turned away. Its not even a issue. (Tell me that if a group of white voters got turned away they wouldn't be making a fuss about it.) The fact that black voters got turned away and it became a issue is a problem. The article states that things have not been changed and they need to be. They are making things even harder for them to vote, why is it a bad thing to encourage a right? And have everyone participate?
OT Time, as you put it.
Growing up, not only being hispanic but having mostly black friends, I saw the treatment people would give blacks first hand. Granted not everyone is racist but I got pulled over way more times randomly by cops if I was with a group of black friends than white. On top of that I have gone out with some black friends of mine downtown and on several occasions have been harrased by the cops randomly. I won't even enter the south texas attitude towards hispanics, and the racial profiling that is done. Even on top of all that my father got kicked out of UT while waiting for me to have lunch with me. This man who helped pay for three of his children to go to school there got harrased by the cops. My point being is that people are not always treated fairly and in this case they are not being treated fairly. And I don't see how standing up for their rights and being Democrats is causing racial tension. Which was the point HellaDumb was trying to make but failed.

I decided your not worth the energy to try and convince other wise. Your a person that can't even admit who is causing the tension, when the ARTICLE you posted states its the Republican doing this. So I officially give up in trying to talk some sense into you.
My lenthy reply is from my life experience BEING a minority. I have no racial tensions since i have a wide range of friends....from a variation of social back grounds. So once again your confused and lost.
I think you need to sit down and re-evaluate what you state before you post. Maybe you won't look so stupid anymore.
