He'll never win, ever. He makes too much sense...and damn it, he didn't have a good enough campaign slogan.

Yeah..
It sucks.
Ron Paul was bad ***!
I gave him moneys. (he was the first politician, I actually thought was worth donating to.)

He would have made a kick *** president, but from what I understand he is working on re-tooling the Republican party. You know, get rid of the Neo-Cons. Go back to fiscal conservatism, and hands-off/ small government..

Hopefully he will be able to groom real people to take positions in the government later on.

I certainly hope so.. This last election was bullS**T can't believe the best we could put up was McCain..

They need to shake some of those NeoCons the hell out..

Ron Paul had said that he was going to use the money he made from Campaigning to start a grass roots change in the Republican Party. He had a pretty energetic following behind him.. Mostly younger Professionals and Students, but some older guys as well.. If I was a betting man I would say the next dynamic republican leaders (real Republicans--small gov, low taxes, pro-gun types) will come out of that group.

Here is Ron Paul's Site.

Ron Paul could never have won - yes, some things are impossible, despite popular belief.

IMHO The real measure of a third party candidate's success is how many votes they siphon off. If Ron Paul siphoned off enough votes from the Republican party, then the Republicans should consider the issues Ron ran on and why they lost ground on those issues.

Ron Paul technically ran R this time..

Yeah I knew that he wouldn't get the Nom. He talks too straight for most..
People don't like to here that they shouldn't just get a hand out. Or that Patriot Act/ War on Drugs is a waste of money, and doesn't make you safer..
No one wanted to hear him on either side.

He was also one of the only R's that was not for Iraq 2. He didn't think we needed to be there.

Yeah they called him DR. No.

Rumor has it he kept a pocket sized copy of the Constitution in his pocket.

If he felt a bill was within the scope of the Constitution he'd vote "Yes".
otherwise, "No".

He voted no a lot.
