Cheney warns of more terrorist attacks...

... if Kerry wins the election.

From Cheney's own pursed lips:

"... if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States."

I think that this is a shot below the belt. What do ya'll think of our VP making these claims??

Speaking of which, did you pick up on the contrast that Bush made at the convetion between Freedom and Fear... alluding to the fact that we want to live in a free land and not be afraid.

But all we get from the Bush camp is fear propaganda

IT WORKS.

Oh yeah?

when did peace suddenly break out in Israel and the occupied territories?

I hadn't heard about that one yet...

All I can see that it's been effective at is making the rest of the world dismayed and disgusted. A wall worked pretty good for the Soviets when they wanted to make sure that the 2 sides of Berlin stayed seperated, but last time I checked there were still terrorist attacks going on in Israel.

If we're going to go out and attack coutries that are in defiance of UN resolutions (remember that was one of W's big claims going into Iraq) Israel should be looking at getting ready for us to "liberate" them along with the Palestinians, but oh yeah, they have their guys in out pentagon making sure we stay focused on every one else.

Besides HD- weren't you supposed to be on a time out?

No kidding. I saw a quote by Prez. Bushy where he spoke about the "horror of terror." I realize terrorsim is bad, but do you think they can try and come op with any more scary words to make me think I need Bush to stay safe? It's insane. Bush is a fear monger.

p.s. Isn't his quote a bit redundant. It's like saying the joy of happiness. We get it already.

I'm with you on that one. But since not voting is like voting for the winning candidate I'll subscribe to the "vote for the lesser of two evils" theory and will be voting for Kerry.

Yeah me too...I think the best solution would be to replace the GOP with an ultra-liberal party...then all the republicans would vote democratic and the whole system would slide left a bit...but that, I'm affraid, is literally a pipedream...so for now it's Kerry.

Yeah, like I said - politics is literally the art of ****ting in the publics mouth and making them think its ice cream, and Bush can't do the latter. Therefore, since we the people have no say in anything, i'd at least like to think that the government is doing their jobs - so i could go about eating my hot dogs and hamburgers and watching baseball and listening to bruce springsteen. If you are too stupid to keep the unwashed masses stupid, then sir, you are much too stupid to be president - half of our countries IQ is in the double digits, so it shouldnt be that hard.

.....although the polls seem to be split in a frighteningly similar way.
