'Cash for clunkers' bashed
Anything against what Obama says = Propaganda?
Anything against what Democrats say = Just playing politics?
Everyone has their opinion, and you better damn sure well know that some of it isn't going to be in the same path as Obama. To call something propaganda is absolutely anti-1st amendment.

I don't recall saying that; but I am calling BS on equating Obama to Hitler; that's just out of the question.
Does he have to run around with this waved everywhere?

He isn't going to just take a bunch of people and slaughter them, that's too obvious.
-He's got the banks.
-Controlling the housing crisis.
-Workin' on the healthcare.
-Pentagon and the Military evaluating social sites such as twitter, fb, mypace as a significant risk against the country?
Anything else I'm missing?

Other than the big picture?
Hitler made an autocratic, one party, totalitarian government and controlled through intimidation and fear. He obliterated free press and instilled his own system to keep the public uninformed.
Obama is just simply spending all of our money just to expand his popularity in hopes for a second term.
You can call Obama fascist or totalitarian (good luck on backing it up though) but to call him Hitler just isn't correct.

Ford Exploders hold 7 of the top ten spots for most traded in vehicle for this program.Repair shops might start to feel their pockets getting a little lite with all the exploders off the road now, lol.

lol my dad's 240Z doesn't count because it is too old. Our 1985 honda prelude gets 28mpg so its out of the picture too. Its all a ploy to help out GM and Chrysler...
So looks like most people are trading in not for SUVs but for cars that actually get better mileage. Looks like the program is doing what it was meant to do, get older ineffcient cars off the road.
But to be honest, not many of those top 10 "clunkers" are clunkers. I bet they are pretty usable cars.
This van we own, is a true clunker. 95 Ford E150 ClubWagon. 4.9L I-6. Slow, leaks oil in huge amounts, crazy messed up steering rack. Failed smog by over 3 times the allowable amounts in ever category. it's complete junk only worth about $1000 in current condition, maybe not even that much. Repairs would be around $2-4k cause of that steering issue...
I don't feel so bad for wanting to trade it in. It's that or give it away.

Am I the only person that is mad because they have a vehicle that qualifies and wants to get a different vehicle, yet does not want a new one because they aren't appealing?
This would be a lot more appealing if the F150 actually landed in one of the categories, but somehow that 8500lbs law leaves the F150 out of the loop (F150 the #1 truck for the past 30 years... but I guess it's a promotion for chevy's truck that barely goes under 8500)

yes. which stresses the failure of this program even more. My theory is that even though they are targeting old cars to be traded in for newer efficient ones and having the whole deal emit a "green" aura, the government really wants to help out Ford GM, and Chrysler.
