It all depends on your intent. If you are indeed against us, you should be tried for subversion and killed. These laws are on the books, and have been for some time, by the way.

Helladumb, you're an idiot. Dub makes the point (as I've tried before) that criticism of the gov't is, in fact, more patriotic than blind allegiance and you come back with a quasi-accusation of treason?! You suck donkey ***** with an elephants trunk up your bum.

I don't have a problem with people who are critical of our government as long as their allegiance is to our country. You need to wake up and smell the urine, and realize that many people in this country are treasonous... don't you accept that fact!?

Would you put a bullet in someone who steals state secrets, or would you just saying "blind allegience is bad!!!!"

Can you answer that?

Stealing state secrets and saying that our admin is a bunch of f***wads that don't know s*** about what the American people want and need are two different things. You actually DO have a problem with people who are critical of our government...and your claim that there are a bunch of treasonous people in America is total bulls***...where have you seen treason? NOWHERE. You need to stop being paranoid of your fellow Americans and realize that just because someone has a different idea of what our country should do doesn't mean they are trying to undermine the country (which is what treason is...).

What do you call it when spies have infiltrated every level of business, government, and media organization? So when Tommy sends of a diagram of the latest security protocol to his contacts in China, he's doing who a favor? Ever heard of export controls? Do you know how countries get around it? If they want the technology, they have their loyal citizens emigrate to the U.S. and develop the freaking technology!!!

China has a nice military? Ever hear how it got that way? Theft by the guy on your right, left, and maybe one of your family members. Do a little research on communism and cold-war spying, and you'll crap your pants. Maybe not though, because you seem to think it's all a big joke.

So not believing in everything in this country makes me crazy?

Heres my opinion on outsourcing:
As I have said in other threads, I have traveled over a lot of the world and met a lot of people. This includes India where I took a tour of one of these "call-centers", as well as China where I visited factories where though under a U.S. company, they were completely managed and run by Chinese.

What did I learn? I learned that America is being passed up as we speak. These people in Asia are more determined, more ambitious, and harder working than their American counterparts. Don't believe me? Go to a American factory, and look at the newest generation of workers. They are largely uneducated and have little motivation. The era of hard working Americans being raised is over, and many people who have worked in these factories for years will tell you this. Yes, not everyone is lazy but more and more are becoming lazy.

Secondly, you say that I am unamerican by saying the people in the Indian call-centers are more educated than their American counterparts, and I still hold that statement. People working these call centers in India are not the uneducated people we get here, but people who have worked through school and hold a bachlors or better. The call centers also provide further education for these people so they don't stop learing. Hell two of the people in the break room were having a in-depth conversation about Thoreau! Do you see that in a American call center? And, not only are they educated but boy are they ambitious. And in this day and age where India is rising up, they don't have to come to America to make a good living!

So what does this all mean? Well, it means that I am not going to go to America for my labor, when I can get smarter people, who will work for less money (while still making a good living) and will work harder. Untill Americans stop whining, and start working I have no hard feelings replacing a American job with a Indian job. America has gotten soft, and we need to wake-up and smell the coffee if we are going to continue having power in this new world. It also means we can't stay sititng on our *** becoming the fattest country in the world, we have to work and become more educated.

How much do I believe in what I am saying here? Enough that myself and a buisness associate are currently in the planning stages of a new business which we believe will help make outsourcing more feasable by making communication easier (I could explain it, but I'd rather not untill we are up and running ). It is also enough that I am currently learing Chinese so that I can keep up with those crazy commie bastards

Why would you think that I would call that un-American? What you need to keep in mind is that they use "educated" workers because it is dirt cheap. It is cheaper to pay them to work night shifts than to pay high school grads to do it here. The notion that they are somehow doing brainless customer service jobs "better" is NOT true, IMO. I'd rather hear a grumbly unmotivated C/S worker than have to talk to some cheerful person I can barely understand. The upper class in India do NOT speak with such a heavy accent, but they tend to only be in the upper level jobs.

This is where I majorly disagree. I think you're throwing out the baby with the bath water. You are not comparing apples to apples. You're comparing U.S. low-level uneducated c/s workers with "educated" Indians!

It's absurd to pretend you are somehow doing a good deed for America by outsourcing. The truth of the matter is that you cannot AFFORD to pay smart, educated, and motivated U.S. workers due to the inflated U.S. costs of labor and doing business! More educated and motivated low-level workers will not help keep these jobs in the U.S. We need highly educated people to run businesses here, and to preserve skilled labor and management here. "Cheap labor" will always be farmed out, whether to India, China, Mexico, or wherever.

Interesting and smart. You can be some sort of ambassador when they conquer the U.S.

I don't pretend to be doing a good thing for america, nor do I try to. I am being a entrepenuer (sp) in creating my own buisness to take advantage of a opprotunity elsewhere. American companies not being able to afford people here is the origional reason companies move elsewhere. Once they are there, they see the increased productivity.

I completely agree about the highly educated people here, and that is my #1 problem with America today. As I said before, America has gotten lazy. If we are to succeed in this new world, we have to be willing to work hard to become leaders again. This problem is a opprotunity we have and should use it to our advantage. Instead of whining about losing jobs, get out there and get a education!

EHHHHHHHHHHH! wrong.

The first part is right. The latter is merely a cop out.

Americans as a whole are idiots when it comes to technology, and for one of them to call in to voice their frustration their own lack of technological skills and translate that into somekind of racial battle is just ****ing stupid and epitomizes the problem a large portion of our country has with cultures different than their own.

Sure, his name definitely isn't 'keith' like he may claim, but that is no reason to morph your stupidity into some racial battle.

Outsourcing is a problem, but there are better, more effective ways to address it.
