I stand corrected; I thought HW did better than that. That is a hell of a graph. If a corporation had a profit/loss graph like that after a change in CEO he would have some 'splainin' to do. I guess I should have fact checked my post around you guys! HW did create a deficit reduction plan and raise taxes to reduce the deficit by $500B, it just didn't work.

Ok, let's pretend I'm the moron . What civil rights have I lost?

No more than you've lost when all of your public movements are being filmed by private and public cameras, web use history and keystrokes are being stored, and your medical record has pictures of your colon. Yeah, I don't like it either, but welcome to the technological age.

It is to be expected that your civil right to privacy is invaded by this. This has NOTHING to do with technological age, this is the abuse of a power beyond belief. We have had the ability to do this for years but we have not. We have always had a system of checks and balance to protect private citizen rights. For you to just roll over and say oh well is sick. I don't get it, why are you trying to throw away your civial rights away like nothing? There is a reason why those checks were in place.

Huh? All of those things I listed were done by private companies in the name of profit! Only the Hitlers in dirty night shirts want to bring down civilization to get rid of it all. Funny, because our government will probably help improve consumer privacy through legislation, protect patient records, and use the cameras to clean up the streets . Yeah for oppression!

What does that all have to do with domestic spying with no form of assurance that it will not be abused? Again why are you so glad to make this country go down the ****ter?

It has everything to do with the your perceived perception of loss-of-privacy. Technology does more to deprive individuals privacy than George W. Bush.

Bull****. George W. Bush has way more options in spying on individuals than a random individual. You can't even correlate the two its that different. He not only broke the law but spit on what makes this country great. You are giving him excuses for making this country worse off. Tell me how you can justifiy what he did? You are evading the issue.
