Best way to stick it to the government using your govt handout (stimulus check)?

This tax stimulus crap is BS....whats the best way to utilize it in a way that doesnt help the government and/or banks. If you put it in savings, you just give the banks more liquidity and if you pay off credit cards, you give them more leverage. So in sum, that is the Govt using your future tax cut to bail out the banks past stupid financial mistakes....

I'm thinking that keeping it in cash in a safe or maybe buying illegal black market goods...any other thoughts?

On a lighter note, if you really want to stimulate the economy, use the stimulus to buy from your local subie vendor ora meal at a restaruant...

Pay in cash of course

Feds cutting interest rates does make a huge difference. Put your money into your IRA or 40.

I say spend the money. Economics is not a science or set in stone by any means. If it were then everyone majoring in Economics would be wealthy and they aren't. Who is to say whether or not such a stimulus package like this will work or not? Economists on both side of the fence have been wrong before hence our current economic mess. As the weather gets warmer it just might jump start the economy or at least get it active for a while.

So go buy your Wii, new wheels, or take the lady out for a nice meal. Just don't be one of these *******s that says, "I told you it wouldn't work!" with six Benjamins stuffed in your sock drawer.

I've refi'd three times since I bought my house. I've got four hundred more bennys a month to play with. That's better than any eco stimu pkg.
