Kinda like 9/11. You wake up and nobody knows what's going on. Shiz is on fire, your cell phone doesn't work, the power is off. You hear explosions and all that's left of Moffett field is a big smoldering whole in the ground. An EMP fried all of your stuff including your car, 2-way radios, etc. You sit around wondering what to do, and who might have done it.

You see what looks like a stealth bomber roaring overhead, but your binoculars reveal a big red star on the underside of one wing.

What do you do?

 

...if Moffett was destroyed, I wouldn't wake up to see the destruction...


But if I somehow survived, I'd run to the local gun shop for sure.

Luckily EMP doesn't hurt my bullets. I'd walk to my friend's house in the country about 60 clicks away and set-up shop. Stay low for awhile and be on guard.

 

um, I'd be screwed because I'm a looong way from anywhere..and I'm diabetic , so the EMP would break my insulin pump and I'd die...yay :-\

 

I'd do something similar. Go into town, buy a lot of bullets, maybe spend a lot of money on some more guns, go back to my house and booby trap a small perimiter.

 

Haahah couple weeks ago I was flipping through on-demand movies and saw Red Dawn... cool movie for its time.

 

Red Dawn is the shiznit! I still want to drink deer blood even though it has been about a decade since Ive last since that movie... "una grenada!"

 

I'd finally be glad I bought all those guns. Rally at my house to begin static defense.

You're fawking right!!!! If you'd have seen New Orleans when Katrina hit you'd say the same thing. Either leave (which wouldn't be an option) or prepare to fight it out. My town would hold strong, I know that for sure.

Now if you're trying to make some conclusion about how everyone here would want a gun regardless of political leaning, remember how unlikely this hypothetical situation really is...
