Face it, I’m pro-choice, I’m agnostic (not that being agnostic has much to do with political leaning - but you always seem to relate Christianity with being Conservative, so... it’s what you’ll want to hear), I agree with some Democrats (the ones I can tolerate) more often than not, and the fact I’d gladly vote for a Democrat if they had a conservative overtones.
Don’t take my property rights (which you have), don’t take my guns (which you desperately want and have to an extent in Kalifornia), tax me fairly as I work hard for my money, and fix the welfare state (which you’ve created) and I’ll be just fine. Not really too much to ask. I only seem to be very Conservative to you because you lean so far to the left. That's all. I am a moderate Conservative.

Have it your way. You seem to know everything about everyuone. I think we both have incorrect presumptions about one another, and thus tie the cornerstones of a specific political party to eachother. This is the main cause of most tiffs here, I believe... when people assume things and espouse someone to a certain view, that pisses people off and creates a breakdown in understanding between one another. If we are going to have construtive discussions here (for which I beleive this forum was created), we need to stop making these presumptions, and I guess be more careful as to not incite them by aligning yourself with one side and constantly refusing to acknowledge the other. The way you talk about liberals sometimes makes me think that you'd want to be as far away from them as possible in the political spectrum... but you say you're in the center? Shhyeah.
Also, when, exactly, did "I" create the welfare state? When have "I" said I want to seize and destroy your firearms and take your right to have them? Get the point?
And as I've said a million times in this forum, we all have different 'centers.' You see me as far left and yourself moderate. I could just as well say that I only seem very liberal to you because you lean so far to the right... thus making me a moderate liberal (when in fact, I'm registered independent). If you can understand this, you should also be able to not label, generalize, and automatically know someone's views on a particular issue.
I hope this helps this place get on track.... party politics blow nutz - stop relying on them.
