What I find kind of funny is the lead guy at NASA saying it's not our place to say if we should help fix emissions and what not because who are we to say that this is the best climate we could have or something like that. His thoughts were a bit skewed, to say the least. Basically he was getting at: "Who are we to play God with the environment?"

The head of NASA said he was not sure global warming was a problem and added that it would be “arrogant” to assume the world’s climate should not change in the future. Scientists called the remarks ignorant.

“I guess I would ask which human beings, where and when, are to be accorded the privilege of deciding that this particular climate that we have right here today, right now, is the best climate for all other human beings. I think that’s a rather arrogant position for people to take,” Griffin said.

But I think it's interesting that he is now criticizing other countries and now demanding that they meet these goals and standards. And this is coming from one of the worst polluting nations at the G8.
