I caught a little bit of it as well. So how well did this event do? Anyone have the latest numbers on greenhouse gas emissions since the event? I bet it did as well as Sheehan and MoveOn.org. Unfortunately, if there really is a global warming issue it’ll be a shame that nobody listened. All I know is I do my part... I hardly drive anymore, recycle everything, carpool, etc...

^ Huh? This was a good-hearted event about a very pertinent issue.
You cant measure immediate success from something like this, but as awareness increases more things will change on down the line. If you dont believe that, that's cool. Keep voting with your pocket book and leave issues of importance to those who give a ****.

I suppose you're right... and I think what they're doing is great.
I just get frustrated over the fact that nothing ever changes until it's too late. Those that want to listen will continue to listen and do their part for the environment while others ride their H2's with chrome "D" rings into the sunset.
At the end of the day all I can do is make sure I do my part.
