I'll say it again, I hate this election. I listened to it on the radio while I was doing other stuff, and it was painful. Especially the beginning. I almost turned it off.

nothing new from either candidate.

fine. then make public schools produce well rounded citizens instead of deadbeats and baby factories. given a choice ANY PARENT would send their kids to private k-12 over over public, but that changes at the college level. why? because our public colleges are run surprisingly well.

there's several people on this forum that i know personally who went to private or parochial schools as i did and came out much better off than 99% of public school graduates.

fact is our public schools blow almost everywhere in the nation. i shouldn't have to pay the cost to move my entire family to a place where they don't, or fit the entire bill for private education alone, just because the government is ineffective and incompetent.

simple solution: make 100% of all educations expenses AT ANY LEVEL offset dollar for dollar your taxable income. then the liberal *****es can keep the bureaucratic catastrophuck that is public education and conservative independents pay less in taxes and get to choose how their children are educated.

illegitimi non carborundum
Funny, I came out better than many kids I knew who went to private school...

Here's a thought, it's PARENTS FAULT the way their kids are... or even better, it's the damn kids themselves. It's not schools being public or private!

In HS people did weed and dropped some E... at the private school it was E and some cocaine... that's right, blow. Difference? Not really, other than there were some damn rich kids, but kids today are driving even better cars at the public HS! It's PARENTS who are spoiling their kids, poor parenting is poor parenting, and that, in my opinion, is the reason why kids today are ****ing deadbeats.

Oh, and one more thing:

There is nothing stopping any parent from enrolling their kid in private school or home schooling their kid. If they want to do that, they can, on their own.

Public money should be for public schools, not private schools. **** vouchers...

yes there is, the fact that they pay taxes to support ****ty ****ing schools instead of being able to spend the money sending their kids to a place that doesn't blow goats for quarters.

how bout this: if i want to send my kids to private school i dont pay the % of my property, state, and fed taxes that would go to fund that ****ty 'education' bureaucracy?

i agree we can blame parents for lots of things, but having gone to both private and public schools my whole life i can speak from experience when i say that private schools are better, far and away, in terms of education than public schools.

I was doing math in the 8th grade that wans't offered at the high school i went to. i slept through two years of honors and AP classes and had a 4.0. There were kids in my honors English classes that passed while barely being able to write an essay.

yes you can blame kids being *******s and ****ty parenting all you want but that doesnt change the fact that private schools educate students better because they arent MANDATED BY LAW to lower the bar so idiots can pass.
