I think part of the reason people are not satisfied with the war in Iraq is that America today is impatient. People expect results fast and if they don't get them then they have no reason to think X was a success. (in this case, the war in Iraq).

Exactly, would you rather hear about Sally's cat being rescued from a tree by the local Fire Dept. or that more troops have been killed?

 

I would rather hear about salty's cat.

Of course, there would have to be a day that more tragedies weren't happening in iraq. I won't hold my breath.

 

I don't think any of us are... at least the reasonable members.
