WRX Alignment problems?

WRX Alignment problems?
I noticed today that my 02 WRX with only 16K has a bald inside edge in the left front tire. All other tires are in great shape with no visible problems, and the car has never hit anything to disrupt the alignment. Has anyone here heard of WRXs having alignment problems? What do I need to do, and would this be covered by warranty?
Thanks

have you had your tires rotated properly? you really have to do that every other oil service. and if the mechanic is good, he will notice one tire is wearing, and place it in the correct spot to counter that. i doubt there is any large problem w/ the alignment. just take it to the dealer, if its not covered go get it aligned. not a big deal. just something that needs to be done sometimes.

Has the car ever been aligned?
Many cars (including Subarus) come with the factory with, shall we say, "less than ideal" (i.e. pretty crappy) alignments on them.
In theory, the dealer aligns the car before selling it as part of the pre-delivery inspection.
In reality, this rarely happens

I had heard of similar issues and when I bought my car, I specifically asked to have it aligned and provide me with a printout. The dealer (who was excellent in all respects) was more than happy to and agreed that as many as half the new cars they get in from Subaru have less than great alignments, which is why they do them all anyway. In conclusion, take it to your dealer, tell them their alignment sucked, and get them to do it right.
