Weekend track car.

Im looking to make my 04' WRX a weekend tracker and do some autocross once in a while. I need to upgrade my brakes but im not sure which way to go. What do you think of buying the Brembo front brake kit (STI spec) for $1,200? is it worth it or should i try to salvage some from a wrecked STI? Thanks.

You would be best off using a front brake kit that works with your rear brakes. I would stick to either Stoptech 328s, or Subaru 4 pot brakes if you're looking to upgrade. Sti Brembos will give you massive front brake bias. But, try just doing pads, lines, good fluid, and fresh rotors befor eyou upgrade. That could easily be all you need for now.

Thanks. I've been using ATE super blue racing brake fluids for a while now and im probably going to get the Stoptech rotor, lines, and pad package. That should suffice for now.
