anyone planning on going tonight (friday) or tomorrow?

Got the motor broken in and the oil changed so I wanna get some baseline times before I start modding.

I'm gonna take a nap now....we'll see how I feel in a couple hours and if anyone is planning to go tonight.

Don't know if I'm going to make it out or not. Since I run 50% 100 octane almost all the time now the $6/gallon makes me REALLY chang about driving far. Plus my clutch won't hold up to more than a pass or two at it's current depth so my desire to subject it to significant abuse is dwindling...

I'd love to go out thee and shoot the **** though. Maybe I can borrow Erin's Rav?

i told my girlfriend this afternoon she too can bring her rav4 and test it out next time i go to the tracks. she wants to check it out one day since i finally got my butt out there this past wednesday (really the slowest car on the forums now).

P.S. Richard, what tire pressure do you recommend for the stock wheels/tires?

On a side note & not to hijack the thread... who else's wife/gf has a Rav4 ??

she teases me that she'll hang with a rav4 crew since i'm always about the wrx.

It's pretty easy to spin the stockers... I'd say drive there with 35-38psi in them and drop them steadily until you start to get a good hook.

Either that or drive there with stock tire pressure and roll through the water to help spin 'em at the line.

Stock tires RULE on the dragstrip!
