TEIN Type HG + DMS Camber caster plate = need gc8 upper spring perches

So I got my spiffy new Tein Type HG coilovers, and I wanted to use them with my spiffy new MRT camber/caster plate tophats. Bummer though, since you need upper spring perches, and the stock WRX rear tophats are integrated into the spring perch.

The (apparent) solution? Get some rear upper spring perches from a GC8, Subaru part #20373AA200! I'll post back if that doesn't work.

The solution I used was to use the STi rear tops and camber bolts...

I had to use the rear upper spring perches from a GC8. Did your HG's not come with the upper pillowball set? Mine did. Its a pitty that they are so damn nice. They let the strut top mount even higher up that stock. I would like to use the DMS tops (for the camber) but there is not much leway for height adjustment in the front lower perch collars.
