Swaybar or endlinks?

I want to improve turn in, and corner flatter. I also want to make the handling a little more neutral and kill some of the nasty understeer. Should I get endlinks or a swaybar? I do occasionally do a little mudding, and read that endlinks can cause problems offroad. True?

That is an option, but I dont want my car to snap around if I get off the gas mid-corner. That is what I have heard happens with that setup. I want more neutral, not more dangerous. If I autocrossed, it would be a different story.

The problem with getting solid (metal) aftermarket endlinks is that unlike the stock ones, they won't wreak so easily, if at all. So if you go playing in the mud and jolt the suspension hard enough that it would have broken the stock endlink something else will bend instead if you have an aftermarket endlink. Something more expensive... So basically the aftermarket endlinks are stiffer and allow the swaybars to work better/sooner in cornering (make things a bit stiffer essentially). The downside is that they will no longer break easily and you'll probably bend or break a more expensive suspension component if something bad happens...

If you adjust your swaybar correctly you won't have a problem like this. The car will be very neutral. If you get a nice stiff swaybar and endlinks and set it at 20mm (usually the lowest setting) the car will be very neutral/understeer. If you put it to say 24mm it will snap around on you and be very twitchy... Endlinks just stiffen up things a bit more, they aren't gonna cause massive oversteer with your bar set correctly...

don't just get endlinks

you should get both

i have cusco rear adj sway with solid helix endlinks, and i do a lot of off roading and have never had a problem.

when i installed it that was my only suspension mod and it made the car so much more neutral. get the adj sway bar cause then you can get it so it feels just right for you
