suspension technical-what fits, what doesn't?

I was hoping someone could give me a little help in figuring out some suspension questions I have...(car is a 2002 wrx sedan)

I am going to purchase either the KYB AGX's or the KONI inserts. I am getting rid of my current coilovers...the JIC FLT-A2...I've decided they are just too bouncy for me, but at the same time I don't want to give up the balance that setup has allowed, so I've got some requirements and preferences for my next suspension, while keeping cost in mind. I definitely want to keep a fairly significant degree of camber/caster, though it doesn't necessarily need to be adjustable. Presently I have the front camber plates turned to allow for ~2.5* degrees of camber and a bunch of caster (maybe 4* or so). Is it possible to recycle the camber plates from the JIC's, or what kind of modification to them might be necessary? Otherwise, what about just modifying the bolt holes in the strut to allow for more camber and caster...is it realistic to get these numbers by JUST modifying those strut 'ears'?

On to spring questions: my requirements for spring rates are that the rear rates are at least as high as the front, with preferrably a linear rate. Ground Controls are an option, but with cost in mind and no need to adjust the ride height, I'm exploring other spring options. From comparing spring rates for the 02-03 with 04+ WRX's, it seems like the later years have slightly higher rates. Can a spring for an '04 be used on an '02, say, using tein's s-tech spring for an '02 in the front, and the same spring for an '04 in the rear, maybe with just using the '04 pillowball in the rear? Similarly, could a spring made for a legacy GT fit an '02 WRX...those springs rates seem to be better suited for me. One more question, Is it possible to adapt the struts to fit "race style" springs? eg, using a linear spring designed for a coilover setup using the stock strut setup?

I guess that's it...thanks in advance for your time and answers!

Prodrive for an'02 are linear. They will lower the front more than the rear. This will cause you to loose caster in front. Camber plates in front will fix that. You will need those to get the camber you want. Koni is a better choice for struts, IMHO. I don't think that the JIC camber plates will work. You can use springs from a different year, but the top hats will have to follow suit.
