suspension questions from newb

hey i got a 2005 wrx and i was wondering how i can make it a little i higher...it came with the green tein springs and its pretty low right now and i go snowboarding often so i was hoping to put some bigger tires on my bbs 17s http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...533_1_full.jpg

Looks like Tein S-techs....good for show, but not the best spring for handling or keeping your struts from self-destructing.

Swift springs are a good amount higher, and Prodrive WRX springs have a fairly mild drop. Both are great on stock struts or KYB AGX.

A good cheap option would be to just get a set of STi takeoff springs. They'll firm up the ride and bring you up a good amount from the Teins. It'll be about a 10mm drop from what stock is.

If you've been on those springs very long you might want to upgrade your struts.

thanks a lot...also do you recommend any good all seasons....i want to aim more toward rally less street and track
